What is Melio Pay by Card?

Melio Pay by Card is a feature that lets US businesses use a credit or debit card to pay any vendor — even vendors who only accept ACH bank transfers or paper checks. You pay Melio with your card, and Melio pays your vendor in their preferred payment method. A 2.9% processing fee applies.

How Melio Pay by Card Works

1. Log in to Melio at app.meliopayments.com/login
2. Add a bill — upload invoice, forward email, or sync from QuickBooks
3. Select Credit Card as your payment method
4. Choose your card — Melio charges your credit or debit card (2.9% fee applies)
5. Melio delivers payment to your vendor via ACH or check — your vendor receives their preferred payment method
6. Track the payment in your Melio dashboard and QuickBooks/Xero
